Synopsis summary:
Three years before the start of the series, a portal opens up in the New York city , now re-named Hellsalem's Lot, acting as a gateway between earth and the otherworld.  The city is now covered in fog, inhabited by both humans and other world and a breeding ground of violence. Amidst all these is an organisation called "Libra" , with superhumans, who aims to restore balance in the city.

Story 8/10
The story is initially hard to grab and will most probably leave you with a say what? feel. However, you will ease into it and it can be very addictive. The anime  mostly has that neo-noir feel to it and will certainly tantalise the taste buds of Durara fans.  Though I must say it does not have so much of an ominous tone to it as Durara had but will certainly make you think of it. The storyline gets simpler after understanding and the great timing of the comic- relief will most definitelty break the heaviness in the air.

Characters:  9/10
Though this is just a 12 episodes anime, I must admit the characters are well-developed and are in no means shallow. The series also follows more of an ensemble pattern rather that focusing on one main character.  Unlike more traditional and typical shonen manga the supposed main character is in no means strong and posses great fighting ability of Goku topped with determination and courage of Luffy. He is sort of a coward but does have a one-of-a-kind-only-mc-has super power that is super rare and sought after by many.  To top it off the villains are so lovable you cant hate them.

Art: 8/10
The art is amazing but also not spectacular. The most interesting thing in this series art-wise would definitely have to be the 'camera angle'. It has unique prospective that can rarely be seen in animes. The art looks neat and detailed with that extra touch of noir-ness that ties all of these together.

Overall : ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just because I can see so much potential with the story but with just 3 episodes left and still not significant story development this can turn into a 'lets watch something' anime. However the manga is still ongoing so lets see what future holds for this anime.
